On April 1st 2011 the Edmonton, Grande Prairie, Hinton, Red Deer and Drayton Valley offices of Phoenix Insurance Group were acquired by HUB International.

The Phoenix Group Risk Management and Lloydminster offices remain under their existing ownership and are now trading as Excel Insurance & Risk Management.
